Privacy Policy
CEO: Don't Get Fired · Last updated 23 September 2026
This policy describes what CEO: Don't Get Fired (the “app”) collects,
why it collects it, and what you can do about it. It covers the iOS app and the
game server it talks to at api.tune-gpt.com.
The short version. You can play the whole game without giving us your name, your email, or any account at all. If you choose to sign in with Apple so your career survives a reinstall, we store what Apple gives us and nothing more. We do not sell your data, we do not share it with advertisers, and there is no advertising or tracking SDK in the app.
1. Who we are
The app is published by Texas AI Dev. Questions about this policy or about your data go to support@tune-gpt.com.
2. What we collect
2.1 Gameplay data
Your career runs on our server, so the state of your game is stored there. That means:
- A randomly generated player ID, created when you first open the app. It is not derived from your device, your phone number or any Apple identifier.
- The company name you type, the industry you pick and the CEO avatar you choose.
- Your in-game statistics, the decisions you make, your run history, your badges and your career record.
- A six-character friend code, so another player can add you if you give it to them.
We keep this because it is the game. Without it, closing the app would end your career.
2.2 Account data, only if you sign in
Signing in with Apple is optional and is never required to play. It exists so a career survives deleting and reinstalling the app. If you use it, Apple sends us:
- A stable, app-specific identifier for your Apple Account. This is the only thing we treat as your identity.
- Your name and email address, but only the very first time you authorize the app. Apple does not send them again, and we never overwrite what we stored the first time.
If you use Apple's Hide My Email, the address we receive is Apple's relay address, not your real one. We never see your real address.
We never receive your Apple Account password, and we never ask for one.
2.3 Analytics
The app sends anonymous usage events to TelemetryDeck, a privacy-focused analytics provider based in
the EU. These events tell us things like how far players get before quitting and
whether the store screen works — for example App.Opened,
Run.DayEnded, Career.AssignmentStarted and
Store.PurchaseCompleted, along with plain numbers such as which day
of the run you are on.
TelemetryDeck does not receive your name, your email, your company name or your player ID. There is no advertising identifier (IDFA), no cross-app tracking, and therefore no App Tracking Transparency prompt — we have nothing to ask permission for.
2.4 Purchases
All purchases go through Apple's In-App Purchase system. Apple processes the payment; we never see your card details, your billing address or your Apple Account credentials. The app asks Apple which cosmetic packs you own and unlocks them. We record that a purchase happened, so we can tell a working store from a broken one, but not who made it.
2.5 Logs, errors and crashes
Our server keeps ordinary technical logs and sends crash reports to Sentry so we can fix failures. These may include an IP address and the technical details of the failed request.
If the app itself crashes or hits an error, it sends a report to Sentry too: the stack trace, your device model, iOS and app versions, and a random identifier for this installation. It does not include your name, email, Apple Account identifier, screenshots or anything else that identifies you, and it is not linked to your career.
Both are used to keep the service working and for nothing else.
3. What we do not collect
- No contacts, photos, microphone, camera, calendar or health data.
- No precise or coarse location.
- No advertising identifier, and no data shared with data brokers or ad networks.
- No tracking of you across other companies' apps or websites.
4. Why we are allowed to hold it
| Data | Reason |
|---|---|
| Gameplay and career data | To perform the service you asked for — running and saving your game. |
| Apple Account identifier, name, email | Your consent, given when you choose to sign in, so your career can be recovered. |
| Anonymous analytics | Our legitimate interest in knowing whether the game works. |
| Logs and crash reports | Our legitimate interest in keeping the service running and secure. |
5. Who else sees it
We do not sell your data and we do not share it for advertising. It reaches only the providers that make the app work:
- Amazon Web Services — hosts the game server and its database, in the United States.
- Apple — handles sign-in and all payments, under Apple's own privacy policy.
- TelemetryDeck — receives the anonymous events described above.
- Sentry — receives server error reports and app crash reports.
We will also disclose data if the law genuinely requires it.
6. Other players
If you give someone your friend code and they add you, they can see your in-game company name and how that company is doing. They do not see your real name, your email or your decisions. Nothing is public: a friend code only works if you hand it to someone.
7. How long we keep it
Career and account data are kept while your account exists. Anonymous analytics are kept in aggregate and cannot be traced back to you. Server logs and crash reports are kept for a short operational period and then discarded.
8. Your rights
Deleting your account. You can delete your account from inside the app, in the account section. Deleting it removes your player record, your decision log, your run history and both sides of every friendship. This is permanent and we cannot undo it.
Depending on where you live, you may also have the right to ask for a copy of your data, to correct it, to restrict how it is used, or to object to that use. Write to support@tune-gpt.com and we will respond.
Purchases are handled by Apple, so refunds are requested from Apple rather than from us.
9. Children
The app is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has given us personal information, write to support@tune-gpt.com and we will delete it.
10. International transfers
Our servers are in the United States. If you play from elsewhere, your data is transferred there and handled under this policy.
11. Changes
If this policy changes in a way that matters, we will update the date at the top of this page and, where the change is significant, say so in the app.
